Dada Hari Vav

Dada Hari Wav also known as Dada Hari Stepwell and Dada Harir stepwell is located in Ahmedabad in Gujarat State of India. Dada Hari Stepwell was constructed around 1501 during the reign of Memud Begda. Dada Harir stepwell is located behind the tomb of Dada Hari. Dada Hari Wav is considered as one of the most complicated structure of Ahmedabad. The main idea of constructing the well was to provide cool water and place for relaxation to the travelers coming to this area. Dada Hari Stepwell is built in Solanki architecture style using sandstone and is five stories deep. Dada Hari Stepwell is a beautiful architecture example of Gujarat. Every year thousands of tourists visit Dada Hari Wav. Every pillar, wall and step has been decorated beautiful and tells a story of rich history of Gujarat.
