Chandni Chowk (Also spelled as Chandani Chowk) is one of the oldest markets located in Old Delhi of Delhi, India. Chandni Chowk is situated very near to Old Delhi Railway Station and Red Fort. Chandni Chowk was built in 17th Century by Mughal King of India Shah Jahan and designed by his daughter Jahanara. During that time Chandni Chowk market was divided by canals (Now closed) to have an reflection of moonlight. Chandni Chowk is one of India’s biggest wholesale market. People not only from Delhi but also from all over the world visits Chandni Chowk for shopping. Though Chandni Chowk is full hawkers and porters within narrow lanes, still the experience is wonderful.
