Parliament House (Called Sansad Bhavan in Hindi Language) is the house of Parliament of India and contains Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha located in New Delhi. Earlier called the House of Parliament, Parliament House was designed by British architects Sir Edwin Lutyens and Sir Herbert Baker in the year 1912 – 1913. However, construction of Parliament House started in 1921 and got completed in the year 1927. Parliament House has an Museum also which is known as The Parliament Museum, it was opened in the year 2006 and located next to the Parliament House only. Parliament House has Ministerial offices, different committee rooms as well as an library. There is a domed circular central hall with oak paneled walls in Parliament House, also there are three semi circular buildings which are used for the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha meetings. General Public or tourists are not allowed to enter in Parliament House and tourist normally can have an outside look at the building.
