Shri Sai Akshardham Mandir

Akshardham Temple is also known as Swaminarayan Akshardham Mandir. It is located on the National Highway 24 Delhi. This Temple dedicated to Bhagwan Swaminarayan. There are idols of Hindu gods and goddesses such as Shiv Parvati, Sita Ram, Lakshmi Narayan and also Radha Krishna in the temple site. It is a very biggest and most famous temple in Delhi NCR region and located on the bank of Yamuna River. Temple is built with Rajasthani sandstone (pink color) and Italian Carrara marble and temple have 234 pillars, 2000 deity statues, nine domes and many more. The temple also has 148 elephant statues that weigh a total of 3000 tons. It took 5 years to build the temple and it is covered 100 acres of land. Pramukh Swami Maharaj, who built the Swaminarayan  Akshardham Temple. Summers are very hot from March to Jun End and Monsoon is the worst time to visit. The best time to visit the temple is the winter season between October to February. Evening you can enjoy the musical fountain light show. The temple is open from 09:30 am to 06:30 pm, exhibition tickets sold between 10 am to 05 pm. Entry to the temple is free of cost. Photography, Mobile phones, and electronic items not allowed inside the Temple. Akshardham Temple is closed on every Monday.
